The Nest at Ruth Farms is SO beautiful and definitely one of my favorite venues!! I absolutely love photographing weddings here! My brides ALWAYS rave about their photos!!! There are so many photo ops around the venue for creating and capturing the most beautiful pictures! Some features I love about this venue - clean/white slate for ANY wedding aesthetic, spacious reception area with cocktail and buffet wings attached, a gorgeous white chapel with lots of natural light, the option for an outdoor ceremony space, tons of photo op locations, friendly staff, charming and timeless vibes all the way around! It truly is a stunner of a venue. As a wedding photographer, I love working with this amazing staff and capturing beautiful memories at this gorgeous venue. This review is coming from a photographer's perspective. What a great place to hold your event or wedding! The staff were just incredible and they provided a space for me to store my equipment safely. Everything is gorgeous! Plenty of places to shoot beautiful portraits. I never had to worry about an ugly background and I sure hope to photograph again here in the future. Use them as your wedding venue, you won't regret it!!
As a wedding photographer, I cannot say enough good things about The Nest At Ruth Farms. Aside from the owners being some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, the venue is immaculate. The lighting, details, and airy atmosphere is perfect for adding your own unique flare to make your wedding day your own! I have photographed a few weddings here, and every time I am blown away. I cannot recommend the Nest at Ruth Farms enough! The Venue Director, Calla and the Venue Coordinator, Gabby were wonderful to work with! They made the wedding day smooth and stress free. The venue is stunning and kept up! When I was first visiting the venue, they were re-painting to make sure it looks stunning for all events. They recently built a Chapel onsite which is a nice backup plan if you are wanting to get married outside and it rains. The bridal suite is large and absolutely beautiful to take pictures in. The Grooms suite is also a good size, and both suits have their own private bathroom. I loved working with this venue and wish I could relive my wedding day over and over!
The Nest at Ruth Farms is a MUST if you’re looking for a wedding venue. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. They made the whole wedding planning and communicating so much easier. I got married here March 25, 2023 and it was the wedding of my dreams. I am so thankful for everyone at the Nest who helped setup and put together this day! The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff, vendors, & Whitney with Mothers and Daughters Design…. WOW!!! I couldn’t have done it without her. Whitney is truly unbelievable!!! I cannot say enough great things about this place and Calla, the venue coordinator. She answered all my questions in a timely manner, helped with our linens and floor plans, executed a seamless flip during cocktail hour and didn't miss a beat. The venue - is absolutely STUNNING!! It photographs so well, and is the perfect blank slate for whatever you envision for your big day. Only minor downside is that uber/lyft were hard to come by due to the remote location, but they told us this during our initial visit so we had plenty of time to come up with a transportation plan for our guests. Overall, I had my DREAM wedding. I'm so glad we chose the Nest, it was perfect and I love all of our pictures/videos! It was the perfect day.
This place is beautiful visually.
I attended a wedding here in mid August; outside temp 106. The barn A/C could not keep it cool. Guests seated at tables on the West side roasted because of sun streaming into the room through the multiple glass doors and windows.
I understand not wanting to put shades on the windows that would affect the look, but please consider adding UV and heat blocking film to the glass. It will save the guests and probably save the A/C too.
